Eucalyptus grandis
Smallest branches and buds usually glaucous. Tree up to 45 m high. Bark smooth, deciduous, usually powdery. Leaves 13–20 x 2–3.5 cm, often undulate. Umbels mostly 3–11-flowered; peduncles compressed. Operculum conical or shortly beaked. Fruits 7–8 x 6–8 mm, pyriform, thin, glaucous, pedicellate; valves usually incurved. Coast, northern parts of the region, usually on better soils. Fl. winter.
