Operculum hemispherical, shorter than the floral tube. Tree up to 15 m high, often gnarled. Bark white-grey, mottled with blue-green, usually with insect “scribbles”. Leaves 8–12 x 2–3 cm. Coast and adjacent plateaus. Ss. DSF. Fl. autumn–spring. Scribbly Gum
