Eucalyptus resinifera Sm.resinifera

Operculum acute or beaked, conical, longer than the floral tube. Tree up to 30 m high. Bark fibrous, almost stringy throughout. Leaves 10–16 x 2–3 cm. Lateral veins regular, parallel; angle 45–65°; intramarginal vein 1 mm from margin. Umbels 7–11-flowered; peduncles strongly compressed, 10–20 mm long. Fruit hemispherical to ovoid-truncate, 5–8 x 5–8 mm, pedicellate; disc flat or convex. Coast and adjacent plateaus. Fl. spring–summer. Red Mahogany
