Eucalyptus stellulata
Leaves 12–25 mm wide, 6–8 cm long. Tree up to c. 15 m high. Bark at the base rough and flaky; trunk and branches smooth, dull green or greyish-green. Umbels 7–23-flowered; peduncles almost terete, 3–5 mm long. Operculum hemispherical to acutely conical, almost as long as the floral tube. Fruit ovoid-truncate to pyriform or globular, 4–5 x 4–5 mm, sessile or very shortly pedicellate; disc narrow, depressed; valves enclosed. Higher Blue Mts; Kanimbla and Hartley Valleys. Usually in moist deep clay soils. Fl. autumn–spring. Black Sally
