Eucalyptus umbra
Disc conspicuous, domed, reddish. Tree up to 20 m high. Bark coarsely fibrous throughout resembling a stringybark. Umbels 7–11-flowered, solitary and axillary or several together and terminal; peduncles compressed or angular, 10–15 mm long. Fruit hemispherical, 6–8 x 6–10 mm, pedicellate; valves enclosed, rarely their tips exserted. Coast and adjacent plateaus. DSF. Saline soils or sandy or rocky ridges near the coast. Fl. early spring.
