Spreading shrub up to 2 m high. Leaves opposite, linear, terete, 2–12 mm long. Flowers paired, hanging down. Floral tube up to 6 mm long. Sepals with several narrow lobes. Petals yellow, c. 2 mm long. Style exceeding the petals. Putty to Rylestone. Uncommon. DSF. Ss. Fl. spring.
