Petals 20 mm long or longer, lilac, pink or white. Leaves 20 cm long and 5-7-lobed, margins crenate or toothed, stellate hairy on both surfaces; petiole 10–15 mm long. Sepals enlarging and covering the fruit. Mericarps 12–15, dorsally reticulate. Fl. winter–summer (may be introduced to Sydney region from western NSW)n Native Hollyhock
