Sporocarps without teeth. Stalks of the sporocarps usually branched once to thrice. Leaflets of the terrestrial forms glabrous or with a few hairs at the base, broadly obovate-cuneate to very broadly obovate-cuneate, 2.4–4.2 cm long, 2.3–4.3 cm broad in the floating forms but narrowly obovate-cuneate to very broadly obovate-cuneate, 0.4–1.9 cm long, 0.3–2.2 cm broad in the terrestrial forms. Widespread. Edges of ponds and lagoons, on river banks and in deep water
