Flowers usually in 2–4-flowered clusters on a stout peduncle c. 1 mm thick. Carpels free almost from the base, divergent, sharp pointed in the fruiting stage. Petals oblong-obovate, 8–12 mm long. Leaves 4–10 cm long, narrow-ovate to narrow-elliptic, greyish-green, mucronate; oil glands prominent. Erect, bushy shrub up to 2 m high Western and southern parts of the Cumberland Plain and adjacent plateaus; Blue Mts in valleys. Heath and DSF. Fl. spring. Native Daphne
