Some hairs on the branches curled. Upper surface of leaves almost glabrous. Calyx scabrous-hispid; lips broad, the lower much smaller than the upper. Corolla deep violet, c. 10 mm long. Leaves lanceolate, obtuse, 3–5 mm long. Erect, slender, spreading, scabrous, aromatic shrub up to 2 m high. Lane Cove River and Glenorie-Maroota districts. Open forests. Sandy soils. Fl. spring
