One anther appendage much longer than the anther cell; the other very short or obsolete. Leaves lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, serrate, 30–100 mm long, paler underneath. Racemes large, often thyrses; the leaves subtending the flowers much reduced or absent. Lower lip of the calyx somewhat smaller than the upper. Corolla pubescent inside and outside, white to bluish, often spotted, c. 12 mm long; the lobes very broad. Erect shrub or small tree up to 6m high. Blue Mts; Woronora plateau. RF; WSF; gullies.
