Leaves divided or undivided, up to 10 cm long; thin or fleshy; margins of undivided leaves entire or with 0–20 teeth per side. Divided leaves with 1–5 segments per side. Inflorescence with 1–20 heads. Rays 6–20 mm long. Heads 3–7.5 mm long. Cypsela 2–4 mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm diam. Pappus 3–6 mm long not persisting. Widespread. Fl. winter–summer
