Rhizome creeping, densely covered with dark roots and clathrate, metallic scales. Fronds simple, linear, ribbon-like, coriaceous, 20–80 cm long, usually 3–6 mm wide; lateral veins very oblique. Sori linear, immersed in submarginal grooves, exindusiate. Paraphyses branched; apices resembling inverted cones. Spores bilateral. Watagan Mts. RF. Epiphytic on boulders. Rare.
