Floral tube papillose between the 5 distinct ribs. Bracteoles 4–6 mm long, caducous. Floral tube 4.5–5 mm long. Flowers 1–6 per cluster. Leaves linear 11–18 mm long 0.8–1 mm wide. Erect shrub to 1.5 m high. Budawang Ranges Macquarie Pass. Heath and alloasuarina thickets. Gravelly or sandy soil. Fl. spring–winter.
