*Isolepis sepulcralis Steud.

Glumes 0.5–1 mm long, 3–4 nerved on either side of the green keel, margins hyaline to pale brown. Nut ellipsoid, dark grey to black. Spikelets 1–2(4) in each cluster, 2–3 mm long. Leaves filiform. Tufted plants up to 15 cm high. Coast and adjacent plateaus; Cumberland Plain. Damp places. Introd. from S. Africa
